“ Super delicious food. Chowder had no "chunks of flour" as described by other reviews. It was delicious and creamy. The dinner plates came with fries, garlic bread, AND either a salad or Cup of chowder for an average of 20 a dinner plate. Great deal I felt. The waiter was also killing it! ”

“ When we walked in we were greeted by the sweet lady behind the bar. It was pretty busy since other restaurants were already closed. She did tell us they were out of chowder but we did not mind. We sat ourselves and did have a wait before our order was taken, but there was only one waitress managing 6 other tables. We had the chicken sandwich, chicken strips, fish and chips and all our food was great. No matter how busy it got our waitress kept her cool and just went with it and still provided great service. ”

“ This place looks very small from the outside, and surprisingly big inside. Kind of dark inside and could use new updates on their upholstery. We ordered their supposedly famous chowder, but I'm a little disappointed because there's hardly any clam in it. However, their fish (cod) and chips are great! The fish is lightly battered and seasoned very well. I would go back again just for their fish and chips! ”

“ My wife has been talking about this place since we first met 2 years ago. She loves it for their clam chowder, even more than world famous moes. I have to say, after trying it, I have to agree. The clam chowder was delicious and unique, I've never had clam chowder like what you find at chowder bowl. We had just beaten the lunch rush only because we came after it, but driving by at lunch time, the place was crowded. The atmosphere wasn't that great, it was dimly lit, but they had a cool train that ran the length of the restaurant, so that was a unique touch. I will be coming back here again, and would recommend everyone try it at least once. ”
